Tom Wahle - CEO

Tom Wahle, founder and CEO of Techsploration, has been presenting his STEM based shows and workshops to thousands of schools for 21 years! Born and raised in the midwest, Tom was educated at the University of Missouri, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Tom’s passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math can be traced back to a 10 year public school teaching career, where he spent significant time working on lesson designs that introduced his subject matter with exciting presentations and hands-on-learning. One might say he was an early pioneer of STEM education. He started Techsploration in 1997, as a one man show with a refreshing twist. When most performers who toured the schools combined their talent with concepts, Tom designed his shows to make the content/subject the star of his performance. Tom’s talent is his gifted creativity and pride in creating excitement on stage with Weather, Structural Engineering, Electricity, Transportation, Simple Machines, Waves Sound and Lights  performances. But that’s not all! Every show has a corresponding classroom workshop that engages the individual learner with hands-on lessons!
